What is it?

The smokey eggplant's topping is inspired by two classic recipes: sicilian caponata (tomatoes, basil, pine nuts, vinegar) and baba ganoush (lemon peel, smoke).

Finish after reheating

  • 1-2 thinly sliced basil leaves
  • a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil
  • some drops of Balsamico
  • some coarse salt, preferably fleur de sel
